Child Safety Standards Policy
Zero-Tolerance Policy
HideApp strictly prohibits content or behavior that sexually exploits, abuses, or endangers children. Any user found sharing Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) or engaging in Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) will be permanently banned and reported to relevant law enforcement agencies immediately.
1. Introduction and Commitment
At HideApp (developed by hyperr volt), the safety of our users—especially children—is our utmost priority. Although HideApp requires users to be at least 13 years old, we are committed to keeping our platform entirely free of child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE).
This policy outlines our globally accessible standards against CSAE, how we address Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM), and the mechanisms we provide for users to report any suspicious or illegal activities.
2. Standards Against CSAE and CSAM
Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) refers to behavior that sexually exploits or endangers children, including but not limited to grooming, sextortion, and trafficking.
Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) refers to any visual depiction involving a minor engaging in sexually explicit conduct.
We expressly prohibit:
- Uploading, sharing, storing, or linking to any form of CSAM.
- Grooming or attempting to contact a minor for illicit purposes.
- Sexualizing minors in any form of communication.
- Promoting, encouraging, or discussing the exploitation of children.
3. In-App Mechanism for User Feedback & Reporting
We empower our community to help us maintain a safe environment. HideApp provides direct and accessible in-app mechanisms so users can notify us of violations or share general feedback without ever leaving the app.
General Feedback & Support:
- Navigate to the Settings screen within the app.
- Select the Help & Feedback option to share your concerns or suggestions directly with our team.
How to Report a User (e.g., for CSAE, Harassment, or Spam):
- Go to the Search Screen and select the user's profile to open the Profile Details screen.
- Tap the three dots (options) located in the top right corner.
- A slide menu will open from the bottom; select the Report User option.
- Choose the most appropriate reason from the list (Spam, Inappropriate Content, Harassment, or Fake Profile). For child safety concerns, selecting "Inappropriate Content" or "Harassment" will alert our safety team.
- Users have the ability to submit multiple reports for a single person if ongoing violations occur.
4. Our Enforcement & Compliance
When HideApp receives a report or otherwise obtains knowledge of CSAM or CSAE on our platform, we take the following appropriate actions in compliance with local and international laws:
- Immediate Removal: Any confirmed CSAM is immediately removed from our servers.
- Account Termination: The offending user's account is permanently deactivated and blocked from future access.
- Law Enforcement Reporting: We actively report instances of CSAM to the relevant authorities, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and local law enforcement in India (as required by the IT Act 2000 and rules thereunder).
5. Child Safety Point of Contact
As required by Google Play's Child Safety Standards policy, HideApp has designated a specific point of contact for matters regarding CSAM prevention practices and child safety compliance.
